Portrait of an alluring, ethereal woman with glowing fair skin,  intrigues the viewer to desire more.
Is she alive or is she an angel?
Why is she sitting on a rooftop?
This celestial beauty is reminiscent of the great artist, “Gustav Klimt” from Vienna, Austria, who was one of the most prominent members of the “Vienna Secession Movement”.

Klimt was a symbolist painter with a very skilled use of high definition, color and shape.

My painting took me over four months to complete working with my sketches, vivid  intensity-colors,  and high gloss gels, to create transparency and elegance to seduce the viewers desire to know more .

It’s fascinating to understand and appreciate ancient Egypt’s acceptance of several of their revered Egyptian deities, who fall within the LGBTQ spectrum.

Mythology depicted in hieroglyphics and history has revealed on pyramid walls confirms same- sex relationships existed within the culture and lure along the Nile.
There was no intolerance of homosexuality at all.

When I started this painting over two months ago, I had no idea how it would evolve.
I wanted to pay tribute to the ancient Egyptian‘s dedication of worship to their gods, using a lot of gold paint and defining the figure with dark blue lines . A very sensual face seem to emerge from my canvas.

This slim Eygyptian seems to be rather mysterious about his/ her sexuality.
Was I painting a man or a woman?
 I still don’t know, and it does not matter.

This painting is a portal to another time and place!
